This program computes the Electrostatic Contact Current for vehicles or other objects near power lines. This allows users to assess overhead line compliance with industry guidelines such as the NESC 5-mA limit for short circuit contact current. It has an intuitive user interface for defining overhead line data, including relative structure placement, phase conductor geometry, shield wire data, and applicable electrical parameters. The program accommodates multiple structures and circuits within a right-of-way. The program has a library of over 40 object models including vehicles, buildings, and more. The computational approach takes into account the 3D field effects of the objects. Alongside this unique capability, the program also computes Audible Noise, Radio Interference, Magnetic Field and Electric Field profiles.

Results can be easily displayed as plots for prompt review. The plots can be exported as images for use in reports. If custom plots are preferred or further analysis of the data is required, the data for every plot can be exported as comma separated files. Below you can watch a 15 minute demonstration video or scroll further down for software screenshots.
